A 2018 Christmas Gift Guide For The Whole Family

Christmas is just around the corner now. November is the month to get Christmas presents brought, wrapped and put aside for the big day. This allows December then to be a month to indulge in the festivities without worrying about present buying. Here's a gift guide to the best buys for the whole family.

Babies

  • My little boys had this VTech Baby Moosical Beads Toy when they were babies and they just loved it. Suitable from 3 months and priced at £10.99, this makes a perfect First Christmas toy.

  • This looks amazing! If I had a little one, this is exactly what I would want to get them for Christmas. At £24.49, this Fisher-Price Dance and Groove Rocket toy looks like such good fun.

Toddlers

  • This Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Egg Cup And Toast Cutter Set makes an amazing non- toy gift for Christmas. At £8.99, this will have your toddler excited about tea time and will stop the arguments about whether the toast should be cut into triangles or squares!

  • My little nephew will be 1 at Christmas and I have already got him his bits, but I have been trying to hunt one of these Chuckle Balls down as I think he will just love it. This is on sale for £12.05 currently. Who else has a little one that would chuckle and giggle along to this?

Children

  • My youngest is Dinosaur obsessed, so I was thrilled to see the new range of Jurassic World toys. I have got him quite a few dinosaurs from this range, including the infamous 'Blue' Velociraptor. For £7.00, this will make my little man a very happy chap on Christmas day.

  • My eldest is 6 and a half now and he has gotten Minecraft obsessed. So for Christmas, he is getting a few Minecraft figures but also some Minecraft Lego. This set is £15.99 and is going to make him a very happy boy on Christmas day.

Teenagers

  • Nothing beats curling up in the evening with a mug of hot chocolate and Netflix. Treat your teenager to an indulgent festive hot chocolate pack this Christmas from Maple Mollys. For £5 this makes a perfect stocking stuffer.

  • To be quite honest, I'm not totally sure what teens of these days are into other than social media but if how my youngest is currently anything to go by, I am sure gaming will be in their future. This The Gamer's Survival Guide looks like a pretty good buy to help a teenager on their gaming quest. The hardcopy is priced at £6.20 so this makes a good stocking filler.

Parents

  • I absolutely love the new modern but classic Ladybird books for grown ups. Check out this Bad Dad Jokes Card Collection. Help your partner out with their Dad-joke skills with these hilarious cards that are terrible but also great at the same time! For only £7.99, you're onto a winning gift.

  • Escape room games are all the rage currently. Look at this one on Amazon! This looks amazing and will definitely be a hit for games night with your spouse. I would love something fun and unique like this and for £12.99, it's a good price too.

Grandparents

  • I always think personalised gifts are the best for Grandparents. What do you get them that is personal, beautiful, thoughtful and something they won't have? Why not get something like this personalised Grandchildren Family Tree. This 3D frame ticks all of the boxes. It is a little more pricey at £23.99 but this is something that they will treasure forever.

  • I usually like to get the boys to make something for their Grandparents. Something like these Baker Ross Christmas Wreath Mosaic Coaster Kits is just perfect. It's festive, fun, practical and something the Grandparents will treasure as their gorgeous Grandchildren made them. At just £5.90, this is great as it doubles up as something crafty for your children to do and a present for Christmas.

I hope that this Christmas gift guide has helped to give you a couple of ideas for presents for the festive season. There's loads of inspiration for gifts out there on websites; don't forget to shop around and whatever you do- don't panic buy! Who has got most of their Christmas shopping sorted?
